An heirloom tomato from Russia. (Aljaska is Russian spelling). These organic tomato seeds produce short to medium-sized, bushy plants. This is an early-producing tomato plant that yields lots of large, round, brilliant red, 'salad-type' cherry tomatoes with very good flavor. This is a favorite tomato variety for cooler growing climates. I have friends who prefer this tomato variety for their roof-top planter gardens where winds are frequent.

image Never grown semi-determinate. Has suckers in weird places. I added two strings and pruned to 3 main leaders. Fingers 🤞.
Plants were reaching the top of the floating row cover and starting to topple over without support. Winds have been picking up, so hesitant tolet them go completely uncovered. Pruned to single stem and put on string. Will try to keep row cover fabric on the outside (I put hooks on the inner part of the trellis so hopefully can keep them from the edges where they would get battered). Fingers crossed.
