image 08.11.2022 - What else can I say other than "I was wrong!"? I finally removed all pods and stipped down the plants to a more reasonable height. Sadly this means there is no sign of branches left on the stem, as they all started more than 50cm off the ground - on the other side, being totally wrong means I plucked a grand total of 548 useful pods or 504 grams of Rawit chilies off of these skyscraper-like plants. I was pleasantly surprised! Hope some of the plants will rise from the dead next year and give me a bush like plant

image 01.11.2022 - I picked many more chilies by now. 162 chilies - or 227 gramms of chilies to be exact.
about 130 are drying to be turned into spicy oil in the next few days.
I'd say there are still about 100 fruits on the plants, if I had a guess. Some of them are ripe, but most of them are just sloooowly turning ripe at this point.
The plants look okay, but not super fresh and lost many of their bottom leafes already.

image 29.09.2022 - the day most of my chilies moved inside: so did these. They are just super tall, but have many fruits on them as well.

image 04.08.2022 - I'll have to change the naming sceme to "chili trees" soon. The plants are about 120cm tall by now. Sadly only the top 1/3 are branching out and growing fruits. the bottom is just unused green for now.
Still not every of the 6 plants has fruits, but the last one is finally starting to develop flowers.

image 25.06.2022 - also potted up to their final 10,5L pots. They are between 40cm and 60cm tall and the bigger ones just start getting more side growth from the bottom up. Nice roots no matter the size of the plant

image 09.04.2022 - I initially grew them in soil with lots of stones inside. I don't think they liked that, as the roots didn't penetrate to the bottom at all. So I removed most of it and pottet up 5 of them into 1L pots. The sixth had to stay in the small 0.3L pot, but got a soil-change for better performance
